Ca fait plaisir de vous revoir sur ces photos, vous me manquiez…

Et quelle surprise de vous voir embrasser notre Président. Je croyais les chinois plus… réservé sur ce point.

Pour info, je pars à Beijing cet été 3 semaines pour prendre des cours de mandarin, je me réjouis par avance de me rendre en Chine et découvrir enfin ce pays qui me passionne et que j’ai bien l’intention de visiter largement dans les années à venir (et pourquoi pas m’y installer).

I chanced upon your blog and was hoping to ask you for some tips on something.

I am also a journalist (lifestyle and fashion) and I write exclusively in English.

I am hoping to do some reporting work for magazines or the press in China. Although I am Singaporean Chinese, my Mandarin is not good enough for the press (I can’t write it well), except for English.

I hope to ask you for tips on who I may approach to enquire about potential openings in the Chinese media for the position of a Paris-based journalist.

Ok, I agree with you, we can only get the real situation and atmosphere while going to the place. But I think too that human can’t live always with fear and worry. A life like this is impossible. So, even if risk is important, human prefer to forget it and simply live normaly.

I’m always surprised about people who live near a volcano. They live like everybody, don’t think about the volcano
