Deauville, the city of water

The several days in Deauville for the Asian Film Festival is one of the few moments I could get a little bit relax in the year. The city is still not really waked up by all the visitors, all the beautiful houses are still closed, plus the heavy frog which I’ve never seen here, I [...]

What a moving week!

Just came back with the press delegation of Chirac from Berlin, I am leaving again in one hour to Deauville for the Asian Film Festival.
Hope I could get some sleep finally on the beach, and get some time to write down my experience in Berlin of the 50th Anniversary of the Europe Union.

the Presidency election vs the Olympic Games

The relation with China stays an element important for the candidates in the presidency election this year.
Madame Royal took China as her first foreign country to visit in 2007; Sarkozy had opened a Chinese video column in his web; as for Bayrou, he confirmed to me that he is surely going to meet Chinese leaders [...]

Have fun!

An old Chinese sayings:

While you get something, it’s also the moment that you loose something else in the other way.
That’s what I lived for today: I had finally got my little nestle, I live from now on “in my home”… the same day, after spending 5 hours on a long distance phone call, the half of me still [...]

An old friend called me from China with his mobile phone at 2am…

Only because he saw on the web my interview last Sunday in France 2 “Un campagne de Dimanche’’… but I’ve even not seen it myself!
And the same time, another friend from another country in Europe sent me this connection:

I am again amused by the power of the web nowadays.
Coincidentally, I stayed 2 hours in the [...]
